HU Wellness Center | Habib University
The Wellness Center at Habib University aims to support the provision of educational and preventative health and wellness services on our campus. It is committed to fostering a healthy campus environment by empowering individuals to reach their full potential, make informed positive lifestyle choices, and take responsibility for self-care in order to achieve and maintain optimal levels of wellness.
The HU Wellness Center uses the 7 dimensions of wellness as a tool to empower its stakeholders, which are:

Sports

Students can take advantage of the state-of-the-art sports facilities available on campus such as the international standard courts, professionally managed swimming pool, along with many indoor sports such as tabletennis and snooker.


Peer Program

Wellness Peers are students who volunteer in the Wellness Center. They are a key component of the wellness outreach, using a peer-to-peer approach. The Wellness Peers enhance the campus well-being.


Student Lounge

The student lounge is specifically designed for students to de-stress and relax during the University hours. Students take advantage of the equipment provided inside to hang out and have fun with their friends.


Counselling

One of the most vital components of the Wellness Center is the counselling services offered to students. These are strictly confidential 1:1 or a much looser group counselling sessions to help students reach their full potential.

Health Care Services

CLINIC

The clinical staff here is fully licensed, credentialed and includes medical doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurses who take care of students’ physical and mental health so that they are able to have the best university experience possible.

COUNSELING

Life Coaching

Life Coaching teaches students important life skills such as stress management, overcoming procrastination and enhancing their confidence and communication skills. It helps them deal with university life and excel in their time here.
