Dr. Talat Azhar
Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness
Dr. Talat Azhar obtained her Bachelors in Architecture from the Dawood University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. She also holds a Masters in Architecture from the College of Arts & Architecture at The Pennsylvania State University. She also holds an MBA from Penn State Smeal College of Business. Furthermore, Dr. Azhar received a dual doctoral degree from Penn State in Education Theory & Policy, and Comparative & International Education. Her doctoral research focused on education of women in developing countries.
Dr. Azhar was an Associate Director of the Hubert H. Humphrey Program and Affiliate Faculty in Education Policy Studies at Penn State. She also worked with Penn State Outreach for 12 years, where she was responsible for market research for Educational Programs through the Penn State World Campus.
Dr. Azhar is currently serving as Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness and leads the Office of Institutional Research, University Accreditation, University’s Strategic Planning Exercise’s and will now Chair the University Policy Committee.
